Born to Canadian parents in Metz, France, Geoffrey came home to Canada when he was 11 years old. Having travelled extensively, Geoffrey's home and heart is in Ottawa where he enjoys all that this great city has to offer.
After many years of experience in sales with the hospitality industry, having owned, managed, and operated many local restaurants, Geoff moved into real estate, where he has found his true calling. Personable and fully bilingual, Geoff has found real estate to be a rewarding way to help others buy and sell their most important asset - their homes! Detail oriented, Geoff's commitment to his profession is exemplified by his attention to customer needs and his interest in learning, ensuring that his knowledge base and expertise are current and continually refined.
A natural and accomplished athlete Geoff ran and completed his first triathlon in 1986 - the Hawaiian Ironman! He has been doing triathlons ever since and averages 4-6 races annually. Geoff continues to be a volunteer on the organizing committee of the National Capital Marathon, Canada's largest, where he has dedicated his time the last four years.
Larissa Jourkina
Born in Russia, Larissa immigrated to Canada 15 years ago. Larissa has a university degree in economics and worked as an accountant before joining the exciting world of Real Estate. Larissa is rapidly building her database of customers and has, for her Russian customers, become team Russian Connection!
Larissa loves the Real Estate business - it is not just a "job" to her! According to her clients, "Larissa is in a happy business". Being a Real Estate sales representative allows Larissa to really live out her passion - and that is seeing to people's happiness. Larissa can honestly say that she feels as happy as her clients and shares in the excitement that accompanies the purchase or sale of a property. Purchasing a new home is the single, most important acquisition in one's life and Larissa is definitely hard at work to simplify the process for her clients.
She is a determined, perseverant, outgoing human being. She is patient with buyers and a stern negotiator for her vendor clients. These qualities are definite assets for Larissa who is focusing full-time on Real Estate.
Larissa is happy to be living in and truly enjoys Ottawa. She particularly appreciates the culture and positive attitude of Canadians. However, she honestly prefers the drier climate of Siberian winters, her native grounds!
